The City of Vancouver is committed to providing great customer service. We are continuously working to improve our programs and provide new solutions to meet our customers' needs. Due to careful implementation of our new electronic billing system, we are proud to offer you a new variety of options for paying and managing your water, sewer and storm water utilities account.
Here are the methods you can choose for making a City of Vancouver utilities payment:
Pay in person with check, cash, money order, or Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card. (See Payment Locations and Hours)
Pay by mail with check or money order.
Pay at a Night Deposit/Drop Box, check or money order only. (See Payment Locations and Hours)
Pay electronically. Please be sure to have your service account number, found in the top right corner on your bill, to use these options, below.
Vancouver's At Your Service online payment option allows you to view basic information about your account and pay your bill with your checking or savings account or with your Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It's quick, easy and convenient! Visit www.cityofvancouver.us/atyourservice.
Vancouver's new Automated Voice Response system is also available to our customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When you call our regular main Utilities Service number at 360-487-7999, you have the option of getting account information and making payments by check or Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card. To reach a customer service representative at any time, simply press the “0” on your phone.
Electronic bill payment services may be offered through your bank or financial institution. The City of Vancouver can accept payments from any such provider, but is not responsible for the operations of these private services nor any charges that may or may not be required. The City has no control over the entry or management of payments processed by third-party service providers until the payment is actually received by the City. Payment delivery times can vary depending on the service provider, and can sometime require as much as 10 days. It is always the customer’s responsibility to ensure on-time delivery of payments. When setting up your electronic bill payment, please use the following address: City of Vancouver Utilities, P.O. Box 8875, Vancouver, WA 98666-8875, 360-487-7999, if required.
Note about the security of your information: Our customers’ security is critical to the City of Vancouver. For all online and Automated Voice Response telephone systems, your information is secured. When you use the At Your Service online service and click Make Payment, you will get a prompt advising you’re about to enter a secure location. When you click yes, you will also see the “lock” icon at the bottom of the page signifying a secured site. All payments transactions are encrypted at each step under industry standard methods. City of Vancouver data is secured using industry standard methods to protect from any unauthorized access. The City of Vancouver does not retain credit card or checking account numbers for payments made through the Internet nor will it do so for the future Automated Voice Response telephone system.
